What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural relaxed state of mind that you go in and out of numerous times a day. For example, when you daydream or become absorbed in a great movie you are experiencing hypnosis. You are acutely aware of and yet not actively engaged in your surroundings. This is the time when the subconscious is open and receptive to release and change.
The subconscious mind is where your memories, feelings and belief system reside. It is the driving force in who you are and what you do, and your body and your life choices are the results of those feelings and beliefs. Therefore, in order to release what is holding you back and facilitate the changes in yourself that you desire, you will see the greatest success by directly accessing your subconscious mind. With hypnosis you have this direct access, which will allow you to create the life you want to live.

You will see that all hypnosis is really self hypnosis; you are the one in control. As a trained hypnotherapist I will guide you on your path to self empowerment by giving you the tools to help you release or change whatever aspects of your life that no longer positively serve you.
In a private and always confidential session we begin by reviewing your First Session Worksheet and talking about what areas of your life are not working for you at this time and how you envision your life to be. You will then get comfortable and relax in a reclining chair while listening to soothing music, as the hypnosis portion of our session begins. I will choose an appropriate method to relax you and guide you into hypnosis and through visualization and positive suggestion, as well as other appropriate modalities you will begin the journey of creating the changes you have identified as your desires.
At the conclusion of your session you will feel relaxed and refreshed with a renewed sense of purpose.
